Extended Holiday Let Contract

Reservations/Confirmations: All accommodation reservations must be confirmed at the time of booking by either a valid debit/credit card, a non-refundable 50% deposit will be taken. Lumby Lettings T/A Lumby Hall. does not hold provisional bookings. Any additional extras (such as breakfasts, extra beds, wine, chocolates, flowers etc) on top of accommodation are payable at the time of booking and are all non-refundable. Once a reservation has been confirmed, where possible, .Lumby Lettings T/A Lumby Hall will confirm the reservation back in writing via fax, letter or email. Remaining balances are due up to 7 days prior to arrival with the entire balance due on check-in. The balance can be taken via the card details provided by the guest without consent (if not already settled payment by check-in), card details will be securely stored by an encrypted  PCI compliant service. 

All rates quoted at the time are subject to availability, seasons & time of year, Lumby Lettings T/A Lumby Hall has the right to change and/or amend rates as we see fit. Rates will be subject to an annual increase and local events.

Check In: Check in is from 4pm on the day of arrival. With regard to group bookings it is the responsibility of the booker to inform all of their guests of the check-in time. The balance of the booking is required on check-in.

Check out: We ask that guests vacate their apartment by 10am on the day of departure.

Lumby Lettings T/A Lumby Hall does not offer a cash back facility with any credit or debit cards.

Cancellation by Guest: For all bookings, a seven-day cancellation policy is in place and the remainder of the balance is charged (please note that the 50% deposit paid on booking is non-refundable and any additional extras are 100% non-refundable and taken at the time of booking)

Cancellation Insurance: We recommend a holiday cancellation insurance policy, which covers cancellation through illness, accidents, etc.

Cancellation by Lumby Lettings T/A Lumby Hall : Lumby Lettings T/A Lumby Hall shall have the right at any time (giving such notice as possible to the guest) to cancel the accommodation without recourse or liability to the guest for any loss, damage or changes caused by circumstances outside its control including, without limitation, an “Act of God”, war or the threat of war, riot, civil strike, industrial dispute, terrorist activity, natural or nuclear disasters, extreme weather conditions or other event or circumstances which were unusual and unforeseeable and the consequences of which could not have been avoided even if all due care had been exercised.

Cheques: All cheque payments that are used to confirm a booking have to be made payable to Lumby Lettings and must be received by the company within 7 days of the booking being made and 7 days prior to your arrival date. Payment by cheque is not permitted upon arrival or departure for paying the balance of the reservation.

Health & Safety: The Guests using the facilities at Lumby Lettings T/A Lumby Hall must comply with all the regulations concerning licensing, fire, health and safety.

Credit Cards: Lumby Lettings T/A Lumby Hall only accepts the following valid credit cards, MasterCard, Visa, Switch/Maestro. If you are wishing to use a credit card to guarantee your reservation the card must not expire before the arrival date.

Data Protection Policy: Lumby Lettings T/A Lumby Hall is committed to protecting (i) the privacy of its customers; and (ii) the confidentiality of the information provided to it by customers. Your personal details will not be sold on or passed on to third parties.
Terms Are Before Commission unless otherwise indicated in writing all rates and prices are before commission.

Relaxation of Terms & Conditions: Lumby Lettings T/A Lumby Hall may relax any of the aforementioned terms and conditions without prejudicing the right to subsequently strictly enforce them.

Complaints: We attempt to deal with complaints as efficiently as possible, and all complaints must be addressed to a member of staff immediately and given sufficient opportunity to rectify the situation to your satisfaction. If you are still unsatisfied ask to speak to our manager who will attempt to rectify the situation. If you are still unsatisfied the Manager will ask you to fill out a complaint form (so that the complaint is documented), and this will then be dealt with by a senior manager.

Recompense: Any recompense given and accepted at the time of departure or earlier is accepted by the guest and made by Lumby Lettings T/A Lumby Hall as full and final settlement of all matters declared or not up to the point of recompense. Any recompense given and accepted after departure at any time after this event is accepted by the guest and made by Lumby Lettings T/A Lumby Hall as full and final settlement of all matters declared or not up to the point of recompense. Your statutory rights are unaffected.

Smoking: Whilst smokers are most welcome smoking is not permitted within the bedrooms or Kitchens. If a guest smokes in a bedroom or the Kitchen Lumby Lettings T/A Lumby Hall reserve the right to charge a £250 cleaning fee.

Damage to apartments: If a guest has been found to cause purposeful damage to an apartment or communal areas (fittings, fixtures or structure) then Lumby Lettings T/A Lumby Hall reserve the right to make a charge to cover the costs of damage. This charge is at the management’s discretion.

Car Park: Management do not accept responsibility for damage, accident or loss at any vehicle or vehicle contents. Signs are displayed in the car park noting this.

Booking Accuracy: We take every care to ensure that at the time of going to print the details in all our leaflets are accurate regarding the description and information about facilities available or planned to be available. Photographs are for general guidance only. There may be occasions where facilities need to be withdrawn due to repair, renovation, development, adverse weather conditions, changes in government legislation or codes of practice or other occurrences outside our control. We reserve the right to make such alterations without prior notice and we are unable to accept any liability as a result thereof.
